Charlotte Louise Kay, 82 of Middletown, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 28, 2014 at her residence. She was born September 5, 1932 in Middletown, the daughter of Sterling Jackson and Lottie (Armstrong) Jackson. Charlotte worked for 40 years at the Manchester Hotel. She loved spending time with her family and taking care of her home. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Joe C. Kay; 2 daughters, Charlene Kay and Cynthia Kay-Moultry; 6 sons, Butch Kay, Arthur Kay, Ronald Kay, Paul Kay, William Kay, and Daniel Kay; 21 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; and a great great grandson; and her sister, Barbara Ann Wolfort. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Joann Kay; and a son, Joseph Kay, Jr. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1000 Yankee Road, Pastor Leon Wilkinson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 until service time. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery.
