GUNDLACH – Walter C. Gundlach, passed away on November 23, 2014 at his home. He was the loving husband of Sandra (Oberg) Gundlach for 45 years. Born on February 25, 1936 in Winchester; the son of the late Carl and Katharina Gundlach. Walter served in the United States Army and retired from Pratt & Whitney after 35 years of employment. He loved old cars, stock cars and shuffled cars around from many dealerships. He also enjoyed country music. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Heidi Gundlach of Winchester Center; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Heinz Gundlach. Friends may call on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Winchester Congregational Church, Winchester Center at 11AM. Burial will follow at Winchester Center Cemetery with full Military Honors.
