Lucille Finney Laird, 91, London, died Sunday, November 23, 2014, 5:35 AM. at Sisters On Main, London.
Mrs. Laird was born January 24, 1923 in Somerford Township, Madison County, Ohio a daughter of Curtis and Florence Lesta (Hickman) Finney. She was a long time member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women. She had been employed by DeKalb as a secretary/accountant for many years.
Survived by her children: Connie (David) Somerville of Steubenville; Jackie (Gregory) Sagle of Pataskala; Terry Laird and Linda of London; grandchildren: Laura (Alan) Horvath, Matthew (Chris) Somerville, Roxanne (Andrew) Lang, and Robert (Jamie) Sagle; great grandchildren: Rachel, Blake, and Cole Horvath. Madison and Paige Somerville. Cooper and Abby Lang. Jake and Gwen Sagle. Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Donald E. Laird May 19, 2005; sister: Marjorie Geyer; brothers: Chet and Hank Finney.
Her family invites friends to call at the Rader-Lynch & Dodds Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High St., London, Wednesday from 1-3 PM., with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM., with the Reverend Steve Rodgers officiating. Interment service will follow in the Kirkwood Cemetery, London.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity UMC, 8530 Lilly Chapel-Georgesville Rd., London. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
