Mr. Caldwell departed this life November 15, 2014. Husband of Martha Caldwell; father of Harry McClelland (Maria), Frank Maddrey (Gladiola), Dora Mary Jane Caldwell-Carter (William), Frankie Caldwell, Elizabeth Caldwell, Anthony "Pete" Maddrey, Ernestine, Barbara, and Karen Randolph. He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his two sons, the late James Frank Caldwell and Charles Ellis.
Mr. Caldwell was owner of Caldwell's Refuse Service, Caldwell's Trucking and Frank's Auto Repair & Sales.
Funeral 11am, Sat., Nov. 22nd at St. Paul UAME Church, 3114 N. Market St., Wilm, DE; viewing 9-10:45am only.
Burial 2pm, Mon., Nov. 24th in Delaware Veterans Cemetery.
