Ruth Ellen Ladd, 83, wife of Elbert Columbus Ladd died Monday, November 17, 2014.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Florence Redmon Sizemore.
Ruth was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church where she was very faithful. She was devoted to her family and loved gardening.
In addition to her husband of 55 years she is survived by daughters, Lou Ellen Adams (Les) of Greenville and Bobbie Davis (Timothy) of Taylors; four grandchildren, Michael and Lindsey Adams and Cory and Caleb Davis; sister, Evelyn Elrod.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
Funeral service will be Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
