Barbara R. "Bobbie" Allen was born September 23, 1927 to John Joseph and Katherine (Keene) Kahles in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She moved to Albany, Oregon at a young age and received her schooling there. She had lived in Corvallis and Albany. She had worked for the Oregon State Book Store in Corvallis. She was a member of the Lady Elks and also belonged to the Grand Prairie Garden Club.
Bobbi married Robert S. Allen on December 23, 1945 in Corvallis. They spent many happy years camping and fishing in Oregon, and especially enjoyed trips to Canada and Arizona.
She is survived by her husband Robert and her children, John Allen and wife Robin of Albany and Jim Allen of Salem; 2 grandchildren, Morgan Allen and wife Susan and Courtney Chisholm and husband Bill; and 3 great grandchildren, William and Jack Chisholm and Sophia Allen. She is also survived by her sister Jan Endicott of Albany.
At her request, no services will be held.
