Eugene "Jack" Taylor, age 85, of Middletown, died Thursday, October 30, 2014, at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was born January 23, 1929, in Campton, Kentucky, the son of Clint and Nannie Taylor. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. He worked as a machine operator for Armco Steel retiring after 44 years. His survivors include his wife, Pauline (Williams) Taylor; one daughter, Jennifer Swain; one grandson, Richard Swain; and one sister, Dorothy McLard. He was preceded in death by his parents; several sisters and brothers; and his son-in-law, Kenneth Swain. Visitation will be held Monday from 1-2:00 PM with a graveside service to follow at Woodside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties, 5940 Long Meadow Drive, Franklin, Ohio 45005. A guestbook is available at www.breitenbachfuneralhome.com.
