Jenny Zuniga, age 70, died in Long Beach, CA, on Sunday, October 19, 2014; cause of death was due to a sudden brain hemorrhage. Born March 30, 1944, in Silver City, NM she relocated to San Pedro and later moved to Long Beach, CA where she lived the last 40 years after retiring from The American Can Company. Jenny will be remembered for her sharp sense of humor, tenacious independence and love of animals. She is survived by her daughters, Roma Zuniga and Rosalind Perez and her grandsons, Adrian and Marco Perez; she was preceded in death by her mother, Tani Ventura and loving grandson, Paul Griego Jr. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014, 11 a.m. at McNerney's Mortuary Chapel.
