Kathryn Smith, 93 of Shadyside, Ohio died Thursday, October 9, 2014 at her home.
She was born May 19, 1921 a daughter of the late Adolph and Caroline Jericho Pacifico.
Kaye was a credit manager for the former Martins Ferry Hospital and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Shadyside, Ohio.
She was a loving and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother and aunt. She was a happy person and the first one to help anyone in need.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Smith on May 29, 1970; two sisters, Betty Copeland and Frances Williams; her nephew, Gary Copeland and a great nephew, William Jeffrey Burkhart.
Surviving are her son, Philip Dean Smith of Albuquerque, New Mexico; niece, Sherry Burkhart; Darby Copeland; Katie Copeland;
Niece-in-law, Toni Copeland; Soozie Zeakes (Joe Rucki); Jill (Mark) Ruff and cousins, Butch and Rick (Martha) Petrone.
Private visitation and services were held at the convenience of the family on Wednesday, October 22 at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, Ohio with Rev. David Roberts officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.
