Frank Lubic, 89, of Wheeling, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014.
Frank was born May 24, 1925, in Wheeling, son of the late George and Barbara (Draclin) Lubic. He was a retired x-ray technician with the Veterans Administration; a U.S. Army WWII veteran; a member of Corpus Christi Parish, Warwood; and was former president of the Society of St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Store, Wheeling.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, George Lubic, and sister, Rose Lubic.
Frank is survived by sisters, Mary Hines of Wheeling, Barbara Evans and her husband, Jack of Seattle, Wash., Lillian Jankowski of Marlboro, Mass. and Nancy Shuman and her husband, Donald of Los Angeles, Calif.; brothers; John Lubic and his wife, Lyn of Virginia, Matthew Lubic of Oregon, and William Lubic and wife, Sherry of Asheville, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions be made to Corpus Christi Grade School; 1508 Warwood Avenue, Wheeling, WV 26003.
