Mary Elizabeth Brown
Age 82, of Canton, passed away Sunday October 19, 2014 in Acute Care Specialty Hospital. She was born September 18, 1932 in Woodsfield, OH to the late Arthur and Lillian (Morris) Ault. Mary Elizabeth was formerly employed by Canton City Schools as a secretary at Burns School, as a legal secretary for Day Ketterer Law Firm and a secretary at the former Ninth Street Church of Christ. She was a member of the North Canton Church of Christ. Mary Elizabeth was a dedicated Christian woman who truly enjoyed doing the work of the church and shut-in visitations. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Eugene Ault. She is survived by her husband, Earl W. Brown to whom she was married 63 years; one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Jim Lindesmith of Canton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Earl W III and Deborah Brown of Frisco, TX, Lynn and Gail Brown of Abilene, TX; seven grandchildren, Earl W. IV (Erica) Brown, Meagan (Adam) Seay, Stephanie Brown, Justin Brown, Jimmy (Ashlee) Lindesmith, Jason (Korey) Lindesmith and Jordan Lindesmith; three great-grandchildren, Earl W. Brown V, Eagan Brown and James Ryan Lindesmith; one brother, Don (Lynda) Ault of Gainesville, FL. Funeral services will be Thursday October 23, 2014 at 11:00am in the North Canton Church of Christ at 1301 E. Maple St, North Canton, OH 44720 with Ted Blackwood officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received Wednesday 6-9pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the North Canton Church of Christ. Condolences or fond memories may be shared online at www.sandersfuneralhomes.com.
