Loretta M. (LeBlanc) Zamitis, 72, of Gardner, died peacefully at her home on October 18, 2014.
Loretta was born in Gardner, December 28, 1941, daughter of the late Joseph A and Alice LeBlanc, and has lived in Gardner most of her life. Her beloved husband of 37 years, Paul Zamitis, Jr. died in December of 2009.
Loretta worked in customer service most of her life. She enjoyed crocheting and her cat. Together, Paul and Loretta were avid members of the Gold Wing Riders Association. They spent many vacations together riding.
Loretta is survived by her sister; Sister Pauline LeBlanc of Methuen, three step-children; Clifford J. Zamitis of Demotte, Indiana, Orlette M. Jaillet of Gardner, and Mary Parenteau of Ashburnham, nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. Loretta was predeceased by one brother; Joseph L. LeBlanc in 2010.
Relatives and friends are planning to honor and celebrate the lives of Paul and Loretta, on Monday October 27, 2014 in the Lamoureux Fletcher and Smith Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner from 10-11AM. A memorial service will follow at 11AM. Burial will be in the Notre Dame Cemetery, West St., Gardner. In lieu of flowers donations in Loretta's memory may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
