Douglas W. Silverthorne
Virginia Beach - Douglas Wayne Silverthorne, 54, died September 24, 2014. Douglas was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Archie and Ella Gray Silverthorne. He was predeceased by siblings Michael Silverthorne and Deborah Saunders.
Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Cheryl Shirley and her husband, Curtis of Virginia Beach; a special aunt, Gloria Biemesderfer; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will be celebrating Douglas's life on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Blackwater Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Hammer officiating. A reception will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Blackwater Baptist Church for missions.
