Gail Rumph 78, of 461 Mast Road had a glorious escort to heaven on Saturday September 6th 2014. Gail had a way with all animals and it was with joyful surprise and awe that just as Gail past 10 to 15 hawks flew over and circled her house for over half an hour to show her family that God indeed had flown her to heaven. Born in Weymouth Ma. On August 3, 1936 she graduated from Weymouth High School in 1955. She loved to travel, read mystery books, cook and a good game of bingo. A devoted grandmother she helped to raise two of her granddaughters Miranda and Maya Rumph.

Gail was an active member of the Martha Washington Order of the Eastern Star. She held the position of Worthy Matron for a year as well as many other positions in the chapter. She was renowned for her role of Esther which she brought alive with expression feeling and dramatic flair. She was a Den Mother and belong to the Goffstown Mothers' Club. During her life she brought many smiles, laughter and joy to her husband William and their six children. Whether it was on the many trips they took or just baking wonderful cookies and meals, her innate wisdom and wonder of nature , or her guidance to her children not to "judge a book by its cover". She will be remembered for her spirited temperament when her children happened to "kick the rattlesnake".

She leaves behind her husband of 53 years William. Four sons Richard, William Jr, Andrew and Steven. Two daughters Rainie Zeliff and Chryl Claflin. 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren . Calling hours will be held Friday evening from 4 p.m. To 6 p.m.at the French and Rising Funeral Home 17 South Mast Street Goffstown. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. in the funeral home. A reception will follow at the Goffstown Masonic Temple Mountain Road . The family would like to express their thanks for the care Gail received from Manchester VNA Hospice Program. Gail, mother, wife, actress and homemaker will soar with the angels and rejoice in eternal peace and life in the arms of Jesus our Lord.
