Jannie Sue Oliver, 77, was called home to her Lord and Savior Saturday, August 30, 2014 in Rosenberg. She was born March 16, 1937 in Hope Arkansas to Willie Noveal Garner and Leona Alice Dorman Garner. Jannie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Pohler and husband Raymond, 2 sons, Keith Oliver and Mark Oliver and wife Barbara, 10 grandchildren, Stephanie, Melanie, Katie, Tracy, Joshua, Kristen, Benjamin, Nicholaus, Jeremiah and Margaret and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 50 years, Charles Oliver, grandson, Anthony Oliver, her only brother, Bill Garner and her daughter-in-law, Cindy Oliver.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Calvary Baptist Church in Richmond, with Pastor Jason Martin officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday night, September 3, 2014 from 4-8 P.M. in the stateroom at Davis Greenlawn Funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Jannie's name to your favorite charity.
She lived her life to the fullest, she didn't spend much, she gave away plenty. Our last words to you Mom are a simple " Thank You".
