Gottfried E. Lehmann
Age 90, of East Canton died Saturday, August 30, 2014 in the Aultman Compassionate Care Center. Born March 20, 1924 in Dretschen, Germany to the late Robert and Elizabeth (Forker) Lehmann. He was an East Canton resident since 1957 prior to which he resided in Canada and Germany. Gottfried retired from the Timken Company in 1990 with 25 years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and Robertsville Grange. Preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Lehmann. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ruth E. (Lowery) Lehmann; one daughter and son-in-law, Eileen and Mike Wile of Perry Township; two step grandchildren, Brandon and Kelsey Wile; one brother Albecht Lehmann of Germany. Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Clark E. Kandel II officiating. Interment in Robertsville Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 pm. Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
