Phyllis A. Yourkovich, 88 of Bellaire, Ohio died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at her home.
She was born July 28, 1926 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Edward and Mary Naylor Roan.
Phyllis was a retired switchboard operator for Ohio Bell and a secretary for the former Best Products. She was a member of the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis W. Yourkovich, Sr. on November 7, 1999; her daughter, Patricia Kelly; one sister, Mary Perzanowski and five brothers, Eugene, Earl, Ralph, James and Paul Roan.
Surviving are two sons, Michael (Linda) Yourkovich of St. Clairsville, Ohio and Louis (Theresa) Yourkovich, Jr. of Bellaire, Ohio. Also three grandchildren, Michelle Fuller, Brian Kelly, Bobby Kelly, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 am at the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio with Fr. Daniel Heusel, as Celebrant. Interment in the Belmont County Memorial Park in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
Vigil services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 7:45 pm.
