Mary J. Yoder 88 of 1599 CR 168 died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at her residence following a brief illness. She was born February 25, 1926 in Holmes County to the late Jonas and Edna (Schlabach) Keim. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. She was married December 4, 1947 to John N. Yoder who died on December 29, 1990. She is survived by her 11 children; Esther (David) Troyer of the home, Mattie Yoder of Sugarcreek, Edna (Ervin) Mast of Apple Creek, Iva Yoder of Sugarcreek, Anna (Ivan) Miller of Millersburg, Atlee (Arie) Yoder of Fredericksburg, Jonas (Elsie) Yoder and Ervin (Freida) Yoder of both of Dundee, Paul (Alma) Yoder of Millersburg, Vernon (Katie) Yoder of Dundee and Roman (Barbara) Yoder of Millersburg, 52 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren, 3 brothers Andy (Joy) Keim of McBride, BC, Roman (Clara) Keim of Millersburg and Atlee (Sarah) Keim of Apple Creek and her sister Ann Miller of Wooster. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother, a brother-in-law, 2 sisters-in-law, 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild. Services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 9:00 AM at the Yoder Residence with Bishop Eli Weaver officiating. Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery in Walnut Creek Twp., Holmes County. Friends may call anytime at the residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
