Marne, MI- Donna Carolyn DeRosha of Marne and formerly of Manton passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at home with family by her side. She was 75.
Donna was born May 5, 1939, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Merritt and Ruth Plotts. She grew up and attended school in the Grand Rapids area before entering into marriage with Arlo DeRosha, who preceded her in death. Donna was a devote mother that cared for her family deeply and was blessed with eight children. She could often be found bird watching, passing the time with crosswords, or out enjoying the countryside on a leisurely drive with family and friends. Donna had a passion for gardening, spending time tending to the flowers and in earlier years even liked to fish. She was a proud mother and grandmother and will be missed by those who had the opportunity to know her.
Donna is survived by her loving family; her son, Richard (Lori) Vereecken of Marne, MI, her daughter, Kim (Don) Host of Marne, MI, Diane (Bob) Smith of Standale, MI, Joyce (Bob) McDonald of Irons, MI, Rose (Al) Pascal of Grand Rapids, Ralph (Lynn) DeRosha of Manton, Sandy (Mark) Bigelow of Grand Rapids, and Debbie Nadolski of Marne, MI, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two sisters, Sue and Joyce, one brother, Jim, and many other loving family members and friends.
Funeral services for Donna will be held at the Hall-Holdship Funeral Home on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 1:00 pm. with visitation one hour prior. The Rev. Ben Pike will officiate. Interment will be at the Greenwood Township Cemetery.
