KUHLBERG – Theresa C. Kuhlberg, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. She was born on June 12, 1939 in New Jersey; the daughter of the late Engelbert and Elizabeth (Behr) Heinzmann. Terry was employed by Northwestern Regional #7 School for 35 years. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church. Terry was an avid UCONN Basketball fan and loved her gardens and solving puzzles. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and grand dogs. She will be greatly remembered for her lovely smile and generous heart and is survived by her two sons, Robert Kuhlberg and wife Michelle of Windsor and Andrew Kuhlberg and wife Laura of Canton; a daughter, Anne Kurland and husband Jonathan of Alaska; grandchildren, Christopher, Timothy, Julia, Emily, Samuel and Margaret; former husband and father of her children, Joel Kuhlberg of Vermont; brother, Anthony Heinzmann of Nebraska; sister, Marian Green of Florida; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kuhlman of Utah; brother-in-law, Charles Kuhlman of New Jersey; very dear friends for 45 years, Anna and Dr. Norman Smith; and close friend and colleague, Roger Newbury. She was predeceased by a son, Eric James Kuhlberg and a sister, Lynne Sewell. Friends may call on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Church, New Hartford from 9 - 10 AM with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Village Cemetery, New Hartford. Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 5 Steele Road, New Hartford has care of the arrangements.
