Anna Louise Steele Mapp, 70, of West Chester, PA passed on Monday, August 4, 2014.
Born August 12, 1943 in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Rebecca Steele.
Anna attended school in the West Chester Area School District. For over twenty-eight years she worked in production at Gagliardi Brothers, retiring in the late 1990's.
She was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in West Chester, PA. She was also a member of Pride of West Chester Temple #487, past trustee, Ladies Auxiliary of the Star Social Club.
She enjoyed playing pinochle, bingo and traveling. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving to cherish loving memories are her daughter, Dorothy "Dorita" Styles of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Marty Styles and Stephanie Styles; six sisters, Margaret Hubbard, Juanita Steele-Wesley (Lewis), Elizabeth Steele, Elizabeth Milbourne, all of West Chester, PA, Pauline Steele of Coatesville, PA, Barbara of Wilmington, DE; five brothers, James Steele Jr. (Emma) of West Chester, PA, Jerome Steele of Dallas, TX, Duane Steele of Norristown, PA, Lawrence Steele of Frazer, PA, Spencer Steele of Downingtown, PA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by one son, Leonard E. Mapp Jr., one sister, Virginia Pate; two brothers, William B. Steele and Hampton M. Steele
