Funeral services for Horace Scott, Jr., 65, of Wills Point are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Mr. Presley Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Memorial Park in Terrell.
He passed away early Monday morning, July 28, 2014 in Wills Point.
Horace was born January 29, 1949, in Terrell, Texas, the son of Horace Scott, Sr. and Annie Ferrell Durrington Scott. He was raised in Terrell and graduated from Terrell High School in 1967. He later attended the University of Texas in Arlington. On March 15, 1981, he married DeLynn McEnturff in Avinger. They were married for fourteen years. Horace had been employed by Time-Keeper's Jewelry in Wills Point from 1983-2004, AMF Bowling Corp. and the Terrell Bowling Center. He enjoyed gospel music, church activities and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Horace loved his family very much, especially his children and grandchildren. He lived in Terrell prior to moving to Wills Point in 1983. Horace was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by parents, Horace and Annie Scott.
Horace is survived by his son, Tyler Scott & wife, Victoria, of Wills Point; two daughters, Aimeé Ryan and Zach Erwin, of Wills Point and Kindelle Scharfenberg & husband, Tim, of Wills Point and five grandchildren, Linda Scharfenberg, Tanner Scharfenberg, Averi Ryan, Aubrey Scharfenberg and Colton Scott.

Honorary Pallbearers: Tanner Scharfenberg, Aubrey Scharfenberg and Colton Scott
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
