Janet E. Bouchard, 83, passed away July 8, 2014. She was born in Manchester on September 2, 1930, the daughter of George and Irene (Gill) Baker.
While attending St. Joseph's High School for Girls, Janet performed as a semi-professional opera singer, and was a recorded artist. She was employed as an occupational manager with Executive Exchange, but her true love was raising her six children. Janet enjoyed gardening, playing piano, singing in the church choir, and volunteering at the Elliot.
She is survived by five children, William Quinn Jr. and wife Jayne, Deborah Grant and husband Thomas, Kathy Finnigan and husband Denis, Suzanne DeMuro and husband Steve, and Sean Quinn; two step daughters whom she adored, Marilyn Loranger and Janice Bouchard; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandson. Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. Bouchard in 1997, and her daughter, Sharon Quinn in 2010.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7 pm, Monday, July 14, 2014, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 607 Chestnut Street, Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10:30 am , Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 207 Hemlock Street, Manchester.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Boston MA-NH Office, 330 Congress Street, 5th Floor, Boston, MA, 02210.
