SULLIVAN – Eugenia "Gene" Sullivan, 84, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014. She was born on June 17, 1929 in Torrington, CT to the late Edward and Eugenia Hislop. The loving wife of Warren Sullivan, Sr. for 28 years, Gene worked for many years at Fitzgerald Manufacturing and Lambert Kay. She enjoyed camping trips with her family and was an avid gardener. She was a past member of the Duckpin Bowling League and the Cotillion Club in Torrington. In addition to her husband, Warren, she is survived by her children, Penny Pilbin and husband Sonny, Colleen Gundlach and husband Carl, Warren Sullivan Jr. and wife Cathy, Sharon Okraska and husband Paul and Gail Leifert-Lymperpoulos; 10 grandchildren, David, Melinda, Kevin, Kurt, Cassie, Trudy, Catya, Warren III, Jeremy and Susan; 13 Great Grandchildren; Jayden, Kullen, Gunther, Ilona, Noah, Marc, Sean, Danielle, Leah, Robert, Anthony, Allyson and Nikolas; and 1 great-great grandchild Saydie, a brother Edward Hislop and her beloved cat Tiger. She was predeceased by a daughter, Christina Colangelo and two brothers, Harold and John. Friends may call on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Second Congregational Church, 800 Main St. Winsted at 11 am. Memorial donations may be made to the Last Post in Falls Village.
