Charles Parker Williams, 80, of Simpsonville, husband of Joyce Garrett Williams, died February 23, 2014.
Born in Travelers Rest, he was the son of the late Clyde Charles and Etoliah Reece Williams.
Mr. Williams had been a Project Engineer with Cryovac. He was an active member of Five Forks Baptist Church where he was a Past Chairman of the Board of Deacons. He enjoyed woodworking and playing golf.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Pamela Lowery and husband Rick, and Paige Parker and husband Robert; four grandchildren, Amanda and David Lowery, and Ellen and Will Parker; and one great grandson, Chase Lowery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, from 10:30-11:45 AM, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast. The Funeral Service will follow at Noon in the Chapel.
Burial will follow at Five Forks Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank Lutheran Hospice for their compassionate care and concern.
