Rex Allen Redmon, 52, of Lake Galion, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at home of natural causes.
Born Nov. 14, 1960 in Kenton, he was the son of the late Stanley "Lowell" Redmon and Phyllis "Jean" (Willis) Redmon who survives in Richwood.
Rex was a graduate of Elgin High School and Tri-Rivers Career Center in Marion in 1979. He worked at Therm-O-Disc in Mansfield for over 20 years where he was an Electrical Engineer. He was a member of Galion Eagles Aerie 630 and was an avid and accomplished billiards player. He was an outdoors man, loved nature, liked to camp, fish, grill outdoors and cook for others. He was a very selfless, kind hearted and giving person.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Deidra Dotson of Crestline; one son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Deirdra Redmon of Gilbert, Ariz.; one grandson, Aidan Allen Gates; one brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Kelly Redmon of Marion and extended family, Melissa, Erica and Kaylin Jones, all of Galion.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Feb.11, 2013 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, with Rev. David Mahon, officiating.
