NEW MIDDLETOWN- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church, for Carol J. Cabuno, 75, who passed away Tuesday afternoon at the Assumption Village.

Carol was born Nov. 17, 1937, in Youngstown to the late Karl and Margaret (Murphy) Collins.

She was a graduate of Chaney High School and worked at Sparkle Market as a meat wrapper for 30 years, until retiring in 1992. Carol was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister with Home Bound. She was also a member of the church's Prayer Group, Sisters in Grace, Altar Guild, and made pirohy for many years.

Carol's whole life was dedicated to her husband, family and church.

She is survived by her husband, Nicholas, whom she married Nov. 1, 1975; four daughters, Kim (Bill) Fassos of Alliance, Nancy Skopic of Boardman, Linda (Steve) Budrovic of Poland, and Elizabeth King of Canfield; one son, Nick (Kathy) Cabuno of Boardman; two sisters, Pat (Bob) Mashiska and Nancy Smith, both of Austintown; 12 grandchildren, Brianna McIlvain, Jaclyn and Karli Fassos, Steve, Bryan and Mark Budrovic, April Davis, Heather Swinyer, Caitlyn and Devon Cabuno, Brandon and Cameron King; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Carol was also preceded in death by her sister, Marsha Herrera.

Family and friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel, and Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.

The family would like to thank Dr. Spratt and his office staff for their wonderful care during Carol's illness.

Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
