Fannie Bell Witherspoon-Williams
was born to Leroy Witherspoon and Ida Mae Sterling January 1, 1930 in Kershaw, South Carolina.

A Time To Grow ...

In the 1960's the family later migrated to Newark, NJ. Fannie Bell attended and received a degree from Essex County College where She earned an Associate's Degree and later attended Kean College and went on to teach pre-school for twenty years.

A Time To Worship ...

Fannie Bell Witherspoon attended Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Newark, NJ.

A Time To Mourn ...

Fannie was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Mae Sterling, her father, Leroy Witherspoon, brother, Elvin Witherspoon, sister, Dorothy Witherspoon, daughters, Joe Catherine and Monique Duren and two grandsons, Kareem Horn and Ladon Bass.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one brother, Mancy James Witherspoon; one aunt, Thelma Hilton; eight children, Barbara Todd (Carl Todd), Beverly Atkinson (Frederick Atkinson), Robert Duren, Michael Duren, Ali Muslim (Lisa Hughes), Sharon Duren, Stephanie Horn and Desi Duren; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
