LAKE PROVIDENCE, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Bennett P. "Pet" Dalfiume, age 96, will be held at 10AM on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Tallulah, Louisiana.
Fathers Ferre' D'Cruz and Mark Watson will officiate.
Private Interment will precede the services in the Lake Providence City Cemetery in Lake Providence, Louisiana.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Lake Providence, Louisiana.
Mrs. Dalfiume passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012 at her home in Lake Providence.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Joseph Dalfiume; and her parents, James Ivy Prestridge and Virgie Permeley Rogers Prestridge.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Jeanne Dalfiume of Lexington, South Carolina; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Robbie Howard of Lake Providence, Louisiana; grandson, Keith and wife Shelia Howard; granddaughter, Crystal Howard; grandson, Kevin Howard; granddaughter, Bethany Howard; granddaughter, Canaan and husband Andy Sevier; granddaughter, Heather Dalfiume.
She is survived by her great grandchildren: Taylor Howard, Kade Howard, Scotty Howard, Deacon Howard, Chandler Howard, Skyler Howard, Melody Howard, Victoria Howard, Jaden Neimeyer, Elizabeth Spillers and Georgia Buckingham.
She is also survived by her brother and sisterin-law, Mickey and Katie Prestridge of Shreveport, Louisiana.
Rosary Service will be held at 5PM on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Cox Funeral Home in Lake Providence.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 between the hours of 5:30 to 7:30PM at Cox Funeral Home in Lake Providence, Louisiana.
