Christopher E. Diaz, 44, of Las Vegas, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, May 28, 2017.
Christopher was born July 5, 1972 in King City, California. Chris attended schools in Soledad and Gonzales. He was employed for Soledad CTF, Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, coached little league baseball and was a volunteer Soledad firefighter. He enjoyed listening to music, barbeques, watching sports, and especially time spent with family. Chris was a a man of God.
He is survived by his children; Rebekah Diaz of Ukiah, Christopher J. Diaz of Bakersfield, Angelique Diaz of Bakersfield, David V. Diaz of Las Vegas, Nate M. Diaz of Las Vegas; grandchildren; Isaiah & Aniyah; mother, Rebecca Higuera of Las Vegas; siblings, Michael (Iliza) Diaz of Soledad, Elio (Jessica) Diaz of Las Vegas, Dominic (Amanda) Diaz of Soledad, Kitty Brand of Newark, David Higuera of Las Vegas; nieces and nephews, Misha, Raquel, Xavier, Faith, Alijah, Alilah, Judah, Georgia, Oziah; many aunts, uncles, and other loving relatives. Chris was preceded in death; father, Elio Diaz; grandparents, Domingo & Raquel Botello, Gaspar & Juana Diaz.

at Woodyard Funeral Home, Soledad
