Maria S. Parra Rodriguez, 81, of Gonzales, passed away, surrounded by family, Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital.
Maria was born July 1, 1934 in Jalisco, Mexico and had been a resident of Monterey County for over 40 years. She loved listening to music, dancing, family activities, spending time with the grandkids, and singing, especially her favorite song, "Vente Mujeres".
She is survived by her seven children; Bertha, Gudalupe, Evangalina, Petra, Salvador, Miguel, and Dora; 30 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; two brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Rodriguez in 2002.

Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 11 am
at St. Theodore's Catholic Church, Gonzales
