Oliver Gordon Williamson Jr., also known as “Gordy” of Aberdeen died Sunday, February 19, 2006 at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA. He was 72. Gordy was born May 24, 1933 in Havre, Montana to Oliver and Emma (Krumsick) Williamson Sr. He was raised in Lima, MT where he graduated from Lima High School. Gordy lived in Dillon, MT and Missoula, MT each for 10 years.
He married Helen McAllister December 2, 1999 in Chehalis, WA.
Gordy worked in Parts and Service with farm equipment in Dillon and Missoula, MT. He owned and operated 2 service and convenience stores in Aberdeen. He also owned and operated Central Park Grocery Store and finally, worked as Maintenance Engineer in an apartment complex in Aberdeen.
Gordy was a member of Aberdeen Elks, Hoquiam Eagles, and was an honorary member of V.F.W. and the 40 + 8. He enjoyed dancing and his friends. He took pleasure in gardening and he loved his little dog, Tuffy.
He is survived by his wife, Helen (McAllister) Williamson who resides at their family home in Aberdeen; son James Williamson of Dillon, MT; daughter Patty Williamson of San Diego, CA; 2 stepsons Dennis McAllister of Hoquiam, WA and Duaine McAllister of Bellingham, WA; 4 grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
