John L. Marburger, age 86 of Plymouth passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 at his home with his loving family by his side.

John was born on September 27, 1929 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Mark E. and Gertrude (McKesson) Marburger. January 1948 John married the former Sarah Troup, she preceded him in passing in 1970. John then married the former Connie Abair February 14, 1970 in a ceremony in Greenfield, Indiana. John worked for Bremen Bearing for 20 years. He also worked at TV Time Popcorn, Monarch Coach and enjoyed farming. John repaired appliances for Marburger Appliance Store in Bremen and Bradenton, Florida. He proudly served his country in the United States Airforce from 1948 to 1950. John was a weather observer for the 25th Weather Squadron at Tuner Airforce Base in Albany, Georgia.

John is survived by his loving wife, Connie Marburger of Plymouth; daughters, Susan and Joe Butzer of Bremen, Karen and David Whirledge of Marlton, New Jersey, Deanna and Felix Rodriguez of Bradenton, Florida; sons, Michael Marburger of Huston, Texas, Steve Marburger of Bradenton, Florida and Mark Marburger of Weaverville, North Carolina; sister Cecila Louderback of Ohio; brother George and Suetta Marburger of Bremen; also surviving are John's grandchildren, Zachry, Derck, Luke, Alex, Talitha, Samary, Heather, Aaron, Brandt, Nicole, Angel, Michelle, Marytta, Jordon, Namoi, and Jesse; 14 great-grandchildren; John is preceded in passing by his parents, two sisters, Lilie Gaverson and Mary Noeth; brother, Tom Marburger.
