Sharon A. Daugherty, age 54 of Argos, formerly of Plymouth, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016 in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center Mishawaka campus.

Sharon was born on November 19, 1961 in Orange County, California to Frank P. III and Charlotte (Muselin) McNell. Sharon worked at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home as a certified nursing assistant for many years and also for Cardinal Services.

Sharon is survived by her loving children, Autum Ruby and her girlfriend, Angela Holstein of Argos; her son, Harley Daugherty and his fiancé', Amber Barker of Argos; 3 step-children, Jenell and Tim Roney of Plymouth, Jeremy and Amanda Himes of Plymouth, and Victor Himes of Plymouth; also surviving is Sharon's mother, Charlotte McNell of Plymouth; Sharon's loving boyfriend, James Himes; sister, Karen O'Hara of Tennessee, and her two brothers, Frank McNell IV of Texas, John McNell of California. Sharon was further blessed with 13 grandchildren. Sharon is preceded in passing by her father.

The Van Gilder Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Daugherty family and wish to extend our deepest heartfelt condolences. The Daugherty family will host a celebration of Sharon's life at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at the Pretty Lake Trinity United Methodist Church, 8985 State Road 17 Plymouth, Indiana 46563.
