Jane Flanagan, 65, of Travelers Rest, wife of Ken Flanagan, passed away February 12, 2009.
Born in Dalton, GA, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Stella Mae McCurry.
Jane retired from the Greenville Hospital System after twenty-seven years of service as an administrative assistant.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughters, Barbara Lee and husband Bill, Lisa Hunter, Karen Strader and husband Mark, Katy Burnham and Tracy Howard. She is also survived by her son Michael Burnham; grandchildren, Justin and Jonathan Lee, Jacinta Hunter, Taylor and Austin Howard, Kelsey and John-Mark Strader; her dear nephew Alan Brisendine and her brother Robert McCurry.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Brisendine and granddaughter, Carly Hunter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1237, Greenville, SC 29602.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2009 in the chapel at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with visitation prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
