Ann Mann Lynch, 69, wife of Anthony "Tony" Lynch, died Friday, January 13, 2012 at her residence. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Edna Elizabeth McPherson Mann. Mrs. Lynch was retired from the Accounting Department of WYFF 4 and the Greenville News. She was an active member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, the Inspiration Sunday School class and taught Sunday School for 35 years. Surviving are two daughters, Cindy A. Bishop of Piedmont and Donna R. Porter and husband, Paul, of Piedmont; three grandchildren, Jonathan D. Bishop, Lauren A. Bishop and Andrew Cole Bishop; two sisters, Sally J. Carroll of Rockledge, FL and Sarah A. Johnson of Inman; and two brothers, Jimmy C. Mann of Waterloo and Robert Mann and wife, Barbara, of Laurens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Buford Mann and James Lewis Mann. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel with the Reverend Dr. David Gallamore officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Champions for Christ Foundation, Inc., PO Box 786, Greenville, SC 29602-0786 where Ann was a current board member. The family will be at the residence.
