PEORIA—Margaret N. Mullen, 81, of Peoria, passed away at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Morton Terrace Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Morton.
Born in Peoria June 24, 1936, a daughter of Klaus and Margaret Gratton Krus, Margaret married Frank Mullen March 20, 1955 in Peoria. He preceded her in death January 6, 1982 in Peoria.
Also preceding her in death was her son, Frank Mullen; one grandson, Timothy Trader; three brothers, Donald Krus, LeRoy Krus, Johnny Krus and two sisters, Sharon Cash, Lucille Daily.
Surviving are one son, Brian Mullen of Dayton, Ohio; three daughters, Margaret Mullen of Peoria, Patricia (Gerry) Brown of East Peoria, Kelly Wegner of Peoria; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; one brother, Thomas (Magie) Krus of Peoria; three sisters, Ada (Ed) Bradley of Rockford, Marilyn (Ceciel) Sthal of Dyre, Indiana, Mary Armentrout of Story, Arkansas.
Margaret enjoyed working in her garden.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2017 at The Wilton Mortuary where visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
