PEORIA—Thelma N. Stotler, 102, of Peoria, passed away at 12:57 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at UnityPoint Health Proctor.
Born June 25, 1914, in Altamont, IL, a daughter of Frank and Nora Stewart Morr, Thelma married Floyd E. Stotler on June 11, 1939 in Peoria. He died February 11, 1990 in Peoria.
Also preceding her in death were one sister and seven brothers.
A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Thelma is survived by three sons, Randy L. (Mary Claire) Stotler of Walnut Creek, CA, James F. (Charlesene) Stotler of Gainesville, GA, Stephen F. (Jill) Stotler of Peoria; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Thelma was devoted to her family and especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She loved to work in her garden.
She was a member of the Peoria Heights Chapter 933 OES.
She was much loved by her family and friends and she will be missed.
Services will be private. The Reverend Randy Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
