PEORIA – Diana Lynn Hinshaw, 58, of Peoria, passed away at 5:21 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Diana was born May 3, 1957 to Don and Joyce (Atkisson) Howe, Sr. in Peoria. She was raised by Clarence "JR" Levi. She married Clark Hinshaw on April 1, 1977 in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are three children, Ginger Howe of Peoria Heights, Clark "Clarkie" (Amy) Hinshaw, Jr. of Peoria, and Stacy (Nikki) Hinshaw of Peoria Heights; four granddaughters; and seven brothers and sisters, Dorene (Robert) Boyer of Homosassa, Florida, Donald (Mamie) Howe, Jr. of Peoria, Danielle (Mike) Webb of Washington, Paula Howe of Peoria, Carol (David) Williams of Elmwood, William (Tammi) Levi of Peoria, and Amy Johnson of Peoria.
Diana was preceded in death by her mother.
She worked as a Paraeducator for John L. Hensey Grade School in Sunnyland for 24 and a half years, last working September 2015.
Diana was the Support Staff President of Local 3831.
Cremation rites will be accorded following services.
A funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2015 at The Wilton Mortuary in Peoria, where visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m.
