Phyllis Evonne Sheckells of Havre de Grace died Tuesday, 18 July at the University of MD. She was 73.
Born in Ashe County, NC she was the daughter of the late William M. & Zula (Taylor) Fender.
She is survived by her husband Mark Sheckells, Sons Mark, Robert and Tony Sanders, Brothers Claude, Herb and Jack Fender, Sister Imagine Haney, and several grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her daughter Pam Vacek.
A graveside service will be conducted by Rev. David Jennings on Monday, July 24 at 10:00 am at Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, MD. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.tarringcargo.com.
