Joyce Ann Jones (Inman) of Aberdeen died Sunday, March 26 at Lorien Riverside. She was 76.
Born in Johnstown, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Ethel (Frye) Inman.
Mrs. Jones retired as a contract specialist from Aberdeen Proving Ground. She enjoyed doing ceramics, reading, walking and working in her yard. In her younger years her favorite past time was accompanying her husband to various venues where he was performing. She loved to spend the evening dancing, singing, and socializing.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ronald Jones; daughters, Pamela Hullett of Aberdeen and Tracey Jones of Perryville, son, Michael Jones of Havre de Grace; six grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by all six of her siblings, Ralph, Mary (Sis), Joseph (Bill), Doris, Kermit, and Ruthie.
A visitation will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home in Aberdeen on Saturday, April 1 from 10am-12pm where a funeral service conducted by Dr. Robert Clipp will begin at 12:00pm.
Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association under the Joyce Jones tribute fund at http://act.alz.org/site/TR/Events/Tributes-AlzheimersChampions?pg=fund&fr_id=1060&pxfid=393393.
