A Mass of Christian Burial for David Gaas, 51, of Caldwell is set for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Frenstat, with Fr. Edward Karasek officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Rosary Cemetery. A Rosary will be led at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. A visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. the same day. Mr. Gaas died at his home on December 2, 2015.
David was born on June 8th, 1964 to George Gaas and Gladys (Kulhanek) Gaas in Austin, Texas.
David is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Donnie Kubena of Caldwell; nieces and nephews, Brian and Diana Kubena , Leah and Daniel Cross, all of Caldwell; great nieces and nephews, Mason and Aiden Kubena, and Rylan and Carli Cross.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Acting as pallbearers will be: Dennis Gaas, Jeff Gaas, Randy Gaas, Pacer Lednicky, Frank Maldanado, Craig Supak, Curtis Supak, Phil Supak. Honorary pallbearer will be Bubba Lednicky.
