Funeral services for Bonnie Gail Leal, 62, of Caldwell, are set for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Harmony Baptist Church, near Caldwell. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville. Mrs. Leal passed away on February 20, 2012 in Houston.
Bonnie was born July 11, 1949 to Virgel U. Simons and Willie R. Pevehouse in Marlin, Texas. She married Benny Leal on May 18, 2003 in Birch Creek, Somerville, Texas. Bonnie was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Benny Leal of Caldwell, her mother; Willie R. McMillian of Caldwell, son and daughter-in-law; Alfred Leon Andrews and Debbie Galvan, daughters and sons-in-law; Lisa Renee Watson and Michael Hartley, of Houston, Terri and Jason Thompson, of Stockdale, TX., Julia A. and Alex Martinez, of Louisiana, Kimberly and Justin McGuire of Ohio, Tasha Stone of Somerville, Yolanda and Randell Jones of Ohio, Tia Leal of Ohio, and Amy Leal of Ohio, brothers and sister-in-law; Bobby Dale Simons of Caldwell, Virgel Ray and Cindy Simons of Somerville, sister and brother-in-law; Debbie and Wendell Showers, of Caldwell, 21 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father and one granddaughter; Elizabeth Renee May.
