Betty L. Peden
Age 86, of Brewster died Sunday, May 10, 2015 in Brewster Parke following a brief illness. Born September 23, 1928 in Canton, Ohio to the late Harry and Virginia (Berry) Strobel. She was a Brewster resident for the past year and a half prior to which she was a resident of North Canton. Betty was a graduate of Canton Township High School. She retired from Gold Circle Department Store. Betty was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and William Strobel. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Paul R. Peden; three children and spouses, Cathy and Bret Acierno of Massillon, Larry Peden of Ravenna, Nancy and Patrick Grubish of North Canton; four grandchildren, Ryan (Jamie) Grubish, Carrie (Steve) Markel, John Acierno and Tony Acierno; three great grandchildren, Samantha and Frances Grubish, Jess Acierno; one sister and brother-in-law, Darla and Jerry Engel of Massillon. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Rev. Dr. Charles Kirkpatrick officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 pm.
