Frances Marie Swartz Maze, 90, of 9046 East Highway 60, Salt Lick, KY passed away Saturday November 9, 2013 at Windsor Care Center in Mt. Sterling, KY.
Born January 15, 1925 at Olympia, KY she was the daughter of the late Conner and Lizzie Hart Swartz and was the widow of the late Buford Q. Maze.
Mrs. Maze was a retired employee of A.O. Smith Corporation and Hobart Corporation and was a life long member of the Salt Lick Christian Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Dave Swartz, Rollie Swartz and Fred Swartz.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Amburgey and her husband Robert H. Amburgey, Jr. of Mt. Sterling, KY, 1 son, Lavern Maze and his wife Patricia (Judy) Maze of Salt Lick, KY, 1 granddaughter, Sherri Lynn Maze of Lexington, KY, 2 grandsons, J R Maze of Newport Beach, CA and Robert H. Amburgey, III (Cicely Pendleton) of Nicholasville, KY, 1 great grandson, Robert Rhett Amburgey and 2 great-granddaughters, Sidney Shea and Oaklee Jo Amburgey all of Nicholasville, KY, a niece, Sheila Price of Mt. Sterling, KY and a nephew, Ronnie Swartz of Morehead, KY.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday November 11, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Salt Lick Christian Church with Rev. George Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Polksville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time Monday at Salt Lick Christian Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Mazes' memory are suggested to Salt Lick Christian Church.
