Mr. Ronnie Cox entered into eternal rest on September 11, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Willingboro, New Jersey.
Ronnie was predeceased by the love of his life, Mrs. Laura B. Cox and their only son, Ronnie Fabian Cox.
Ronnie was born in Pikeville, North Carolina to Hattie Jones and Marshall Cox Sr. He attended Vale School in North Carolina. He left his home in North Carolina at an early age and made his home in Newark, New Jersey for many years before moving to Maplewood, NJ, and then to Plainfield, NJ, and then finally to Willingboro, NJ. He and his family were happy there.
Ronnie was employed by Wakefern as a Truck Driver/Food Hauler for Shoprite. He also worked other factory jobs before his retirement. Ronnie became an associate member of the Newark Police Benevolent Association in 1993.
Ronnie leaves to cherish his memory: one beloved daughter, Rhonda Selina Cox of the home; one sister, Clara Reid of Goldsboro, NC; one brother, Marshall Cox Jr. of Goldsboro, NC; one sister-in-law, Lonnie Parker of Newark, NJ; a close family friend, Ms. Jeanette Valdes of Irvington, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
