Robert M. DiGioia, 76, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville. Born in Jersey City, he has lived in North Arlington for the past 35 years. He worked as a laborer for the North Arlington Department of Public Works for many years before retiring over 15 years ago. He was a member of the Elks Lodge # 1992 of North Arlington. Robert was the beloved husband of the late Mary Ann ( nee Liuzzo ), the devoted father of Danielle Cachine and her husband Bobby, Jillian DiGioia-Miller and her husband Brian and Lauren DiGioia-Kapp and her husband Billy, the cherished grandfather of Brittani, Jenna, Michael, Aiden and Chase, the dear brother of Debra Collins, Marie Zdrodowski, Carmine DiGioia, Toni Dellamanna, Catherine Dellamanna and Mario DiGioia and the adored son-in-law of Lucy Liuzzo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Parow Funeral Home 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington on Sunday, July 24th at 5:30 p.m. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 2p.m. until time of Service.
