Janet B. Arasin (nee Bogacz), 89, died September 11, 2013 at her home in North Arlington.
Born in Jersey City she lived there before moving to North Arlington in 1990.
She worked as a Junior Engineer during World War II for the RCA Corporation in Harrison from 1941 to 1945.
She is the beloved wife of the late Alexander S., the cherished mother of Anthony Arasin and his wife Patricia, Mary Crisonino and her late husband Dante, John Arasin and his wife Adin, Elizabeth Caley and her late husband Kenneth, Kathryn Arasin and the late Francis Arasin and his surviving wife Maureen, the adored grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her late great grand daughter Sage.
The funeral will be from the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington on Friday September 13 at 10:15 A.M. thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington for the Funeral Mass at 11:15 A.M . The interment will follow in Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. Visitation will be at the funeral Home on Thursday 4 to 8 P.M. .
