Larry F. Nixon, 79 of Spencer, Ohio passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange, Ohio following a lengthy illness.
He was born August 16, 1937 in Spencer to Arthur and Mabelle (Mantz) Nixon, where he remained a lifetime resident.
He was employed by B.F. Goodrich in Medina, and later Spencer Township.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, tinkering in the garage and his dog, Scout.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lois (Florence) and his children

9 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by granddaughters Heidi Sewalish, Emily Young, and Dusty Nixon and sisters, June Stuart and Jean Kurtz.
Pastor Lenore Robinson will officiate his memorial service Saturday, July 1, at 11:00 AM at the Spencer United Methodist Church, 201 East Main St., Spencer, with visitation from 9:30 - 11:00 AM.
Inurnment will follow at Spencer Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Life Hospice, 3700 Kolbe Rd., Lorain, OH 44053.
