Wayne L. Dennis "Denny", 77, of New London, OH passed away surrounded by his family in the early morning hours of August 4, 2016.
He was born on April 3, 1939 in Newport, OH. He graduated from Spencer High School in 1957 and lived most of his life there.
Denny was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for the United Parcel Service for more than 37 years. After retirement, Denny worked for 10 years at Millstone Hills Golf Club.
He was an active member of the Spencer United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golfing, working around the house, and spending time with family and friends. He and Linda raised their family in Spencer and upon Denny's retirement from UPS in 1998 moved to New London. They enjoyed spending their winters in Panama City Beach, FL and treasured the friendships that they made there.
Denny is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda

He was preceded in death by his mother Vera Czuprun in 1995 and step-father Fred Czuprun.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Spencer United Methodist Church 201 East Main St., Spencer, OH.
Rev. Lenore Robinson of Spencer will officiate.
The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service at the church.2
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Dr., Ashland, OH 44805 or Spencer United Methodist Church, 201 East Main St., Spencer, OH 44275.
